Economic and Environmental Forum
Consisting of two preparatory meetings and the concluding meeting, the Forum is held in September in Prague. The theme is proposed by the Chair and approved by the 57 OSCE participating States.
The discussions of the Economic and Environmental Forum feed the main decision making bodies of the OSCE (Summit, Ministerial Council, and Permanent Council). They contribute to the elaboration of Ministerial Council Decisions in which participating States agree on commitments and task the OSCE Executive structures, including the Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities and OSCE Field Operations, to support implementation though project activities.
The Forum brings together every year more than 600 participants representing governments, civil society, business community and other international organizations, engaged in dialogue on how to address and identify practical solutions for common economic and environmental challenges.
