The Concluding Meeting of the 30th EEF is organized by the 2022 Polish OSCE Chairmanship and the Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities.
The COVID-19 Pandemic had an enormous impact on the global economy, and its knock-on and long-term effects remain to be seen, yet, it also presents many opportunities for rebuilding the economy in a more sustainable and environmentally conscious manner. This is an unprecedented opportunity to collaborate regionally and globally to achieve common goals for a greener and more equal future.
The Economic and Environmental Forum is the main meeting-cycle within the Economic and Environmental Dimension of the OSCE. Its objectives are to identify needs and priorities, to raise awareness and to stimulate the political will of the 57 OSCE participating States in dealing with economic, environmental and security-related challenges, to share best practices, as well as to provide a platform for dialogue with representatives of International Organizations, the business and academic communities, and civil society.
The 2022 Concluding Meeting builds upon the results from the two Preparatory Meetings held in Vienna on 14-15 February 2022 , and in Łódź, Poland, on 23-24 May 2022 while deepening OSCE’s engagement in the aforementioned areas.
