Voices of civil society building bridges in North Macedonia
11 September 2020
Civil society, including youth, plays a crucial role in a whole-of-society approach to preventing and countering violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism (P/CVERLT). Youth leaders can be key agents of change, addressing intolerance and strengthening the resilience of local communities to violent extremism.
“Voices of civil society building bridges in North Macedonia” video presents representatives of civil society working with and for youth from different parts of the country and demonstrates how they are bringing young people together to strengthen resilience to violent extremism, intolerance and build mutual understanding between them. First in a series of #UnitedCVE videos produced across the OSCE area, aimed to promote worthy local initiatives and offers different stakeholders, including youth leaders, a platform to share their ideas, challenges and the way they address them.
