Study on execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights by Armenia: problems and peculiarities

This study carried out by the Armenian Chamber of Advocates with the support of the OSCE Office in Yerevan reviews the state and progress of implementation of judgments of the European Court on Human Rights (ECtHR) against Armenia, examines the conformity of national proceedings for re-opening court cases with the provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights, identifies legislative and institutional shortcomings and provides recommendations for further improvements. The information on 25 judgments covering the period until December 2010 is included.
