Armenian police officers receive training on police education with OSCE support
Twenty-six representatives from the police educational institutions, police troops and patrol service participated in two four-day courses organized with the support of the OSCE Office in Yerevan from 3 to 14 December 2012.
The training, which was delivered by an international expert, aimed at enhancing the participants’ skills in educational curriculum design, using interactive learning methods and assessing training courses.
In addition, two seminars were conducted for police managers involved in police education with a focus on effective scheduling and annual planning, the use of master classes for advanced learning, and approaches to approval of training content to help ensure standards are maintained.
The training events aim to improve the quality of police training and education in Armenia.
