European Court of Human Rights, European Convention on Human Rights and Individual Applications: Introduction
This educational and methodical manual - an introduction to the European Convention on Human Rights and the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) - is the second edition containing three reviewed and updated sections. The first section contains FAQ and answers on how to file an individual application to the ECtHR. The second section explains basic regulations that relate to the protection of the rights and freedoms of a person or legal entity in ECtHR. The third section includes clarifications on how to fill in a new application to ECtHR and an example of such application. It is designed for lawyers, advocates, professors, state officials, judges and other audiences focusing on human rights and their effective protection at the international level. The publication is not available in English.
