Publications on human rights protection within “Safeguarding Human Rights through Courts” Project

Analytical report on the findings of the monitoring of judgements on application of the European Convention on Human Rights and the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights, carried out by the NGO “Institute of Applied Humanitarian Research” within “Safeguarding Human Rights through Courts” project of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine with the financial support from Global Affairs Canada. This publication is a result of scientific and methodological work on the standardized course for judges “Application of the European Convention on Human Rights and the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights in administrative justice”. It includes materials prepared by the working group on course development within the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine’s "Safeguarding Human Rights through Courts" Project. The course is developed in the format of interactive training with due regard to the best international practices in judicial education. This is one of the courses developed and institutionalized in cooperation with the National School of Judges of Ukraine, the Supreme Court of Ukraine and the High Administrative Court of Ukraine within the Project "Safeguarding Human Rights through Courts", implemented by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine with the financial support of the Government of Canada. This manual is designed to assist judges-trainers in teaching the standardized course “Application of the European Convention on Human Rights and the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights” in training format at the National School of Judges of Ukraine.
