Confidence and Security Building Measures

The Centre helps participating States in implementing several confidence and security building measures, such as the exchange of military information or measures on the control of small arms and conventional ammunition. One of the most successful is the Communications Network, which complements traditional diplomatic channels with secure and reliable infrastructure that enables information exchange and dialogue. The Centre also keeps track of all military inspections and evaluation visits under the Vienna Document.
