Communication in Communities in the State of War: Advice for Those Who Receive Internally Displaced People
People fleeing from ongoing hostilities, leaving behind their homes, or even losing relatives or friends, are for sure vulnerable and are experiencing strong emotions; communication with them may be a challenging effort for officials and volunteers, who are also working under pressure and with scarce resources to assist those in need. This set of advice will provide guidance on how to establish contact and maintain communication with IDPs with due regard to their needs and vulnerabilities. Available in Ukrainian.
These documents were developed by a group of Ukrainian experts in facilitated dialogue and mediation in co-operation with the National Association of Mediators of Ukraine and Ukrainian National Peacebuilding Center with the support of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, National Platform “For Peace and Safe Reintegration” and EU Project “Moving Forward Together”.
