Ukrainian Legislation against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman and Degrading Forms of Treatment and Punishment: A Scientific and Practical Commentary

In the context of Ukraine's ratification of the UN Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, as well as the Optional Protocols, this commentary analyses the obligations of the national legislation of Ukraine.
The commentary explores the relevance of the UN Convention in relation to the work of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, and the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The publication is intended for judges, law-enforcement officers, employees of the penitentiary system, legal students and teachers in higher education. The commentary is available only in Ukrainian.
