OSCE Mission launches essay contest on Assembly of Kosovo

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo launched on 15 November 2011 an essay contest for primary and secondary school students “Assembly as a Symbol of Democracy”.

The contest, open until 2 December, is one of the Mission-supported activities promoting the tenth anniversary of the Assembly of Kosovo which will be marked on 10 December 2011. Its aim is to increase interest in the work of Kosovo’s institutions and help educate future voters.

Primary and secondary schools were invited to run internal competitions and submit the school’s best essay to the contest.

The authors of the best three essays will be awarded with laptop computers, and their respective schools will receive computer, scanner and printer sets at the anniversary ceremony.
