I’m extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this training programme not only because it allowed me to further expand my knowledge on issues I consider crucial and essential in order to work in the security sector towards a more peaceful and secure world; but also because I shared this course with a highly qualified and motivated group of students and young professionals, learning directly form the participation of experts in the field. This Scholarship represents a concrete step toward young engagement and gender equality, by promoting and supporting the participation of young professionals, and in particular young women, in the peace and security sector.

I would like to join my colleagues in thanking the entire FSC Support Team and UNODA for organising this amazing training programme! I thoroughly enjoyed both the content itself and getting in touch with so many fascinating colleagues from across the OSCE area. The training has definitely strengthened my resolve to pursue a career in international security and I am therefore looking forward to the events in autumn. Thank you again for all of your dedication and support!

I would like to thank everyone for making this very organized and enlightening training programme happen and mostly for focusing on the gender equality issue by deciding to accept mainly women to the training and giving them a chance to participate in the in-person training. There is a huge need for female engagement in emerging issues such as arms control and disarmament!
