Head of Office discusses housing care with senior officials
February-March 2010 - The Head of the OSCE Office in Zagreb, Ambassador Enrique Horcajada, held a series of meetings with top Croatian officials in charge of Housing Care Programme issues in order to assess the progress made in the implementation of the Programme.
The first meeting was with Croatia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management, Bozidar Pankretic, who is the new Government official in charge of the Housing Care Programme, replacing Deputy Prime Minister, Slobodan Uzelac. At the meeting, the Government's current objectives related to housing care were discussed and its new Action Plan was presented.
Several meetings were also held with State Secretaries and other officials on the same topic. Ambassador Horcajada met with Deputy Prime Minister Uzelac, who noted that the new Action Plan should contribute to a more successful implementation of the Programme.
