OSCE Office announces call for proposals to support civic action for security and environment in Armenia
YEREVAN, 10 April 2012 – The OSCE Office in Yerevan announced today a call for civil society project proposals to address environment and security challenges as part of the Civic Action for Security and Environment (CASE) small grants initiative.
The CASE programme is part of the Environment and Security (ENVSEC) initiative, a joint partnership between the OSCE, the UN Development Programme, the UN Environment Programme, the UN Economic Commission for Europe and the Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe, with NATO as an associate member.
Sustainable management of natural resources, combating land degradation, natural and man-made disasters, hazardous waste and chemicals management, energy, climate change, mining, sustainable transportation, eco-education are among the areas addressed by the CASE programme.
Civil society organizations are encouraged to submit project proposals addressing one of the above-mentioned areas to the OSCE Office in Yerevan, Economic-Environmental Unit at 64/1 Sundukyan Str. 0012, Yerevan or electronically to CASE-AM@osce.org by 25 May 2012.
