Gender practices of media: handbook on gender equality and non-discrimination for students of high education establishments

The handbook draws on international and Ukrainian experience to provide insights on the need and ways of introducing gender-based approaches and gender-sensitive practices in media. It covers, inter alia, the following issues: importance of gender issues for journalists and media; connections between gender inequalities and work of editorials; role of media and advertising industry in supporting and improving gender equality; use of gender-sensitive practices in the work of journalists, and their impact on improvement of successful media professional. This publication will be useful both for practitioners of media and advertising industry, as well as for educators and students. Not available in English.
