Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine visited Donetsk region
On 22-26 October 2015 OSCE SMM Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug and his team visited the Donetsk region.
They met with internally displaced persons from Pisky. For the first time in the past two and half months the SMM were able to access “Donetsk People’s Republic“-controlled Debaltseve, where local residents appeared to be maintaining a very basic existence. The Deputy Chief Monitor also met with interlocutors to facilitate the restoration of power lines between Artemove and Horlivka.
