Представники Спільного центру з контролю та координації (СЦКК) на кшталт представників української сторони в СЦКК, зображених на цьому фото у районі Петрівського-Богданівки (вересень 2016 року), повинні допомагати сторонам у проведенні розведення сил і засобів, а також сприяти забезпеченню вільного і безпечного доступу для спостерігачів СММ, щоб вони мали можливість провести верифікацію процесу розведення. Розведення сил і засобів допоможе збройним силам і формуванням уникнути зіткнень та зменшити побоювання з приводу можливого нападу іншої сторони.
