OSCE Mission supports creation of Serbian Academy for Judicial Training
BELGRADE, 4 December 2008 - Establishing an Academy for Judicial Training in Serbia will be the focus of an international conference in Belgrade tomorrow.
The event, organized by the Republic of Serbia Judicial Training Centre and the OSCE Mission to Serbia, will provide a forum for high-level judicial officials to share experience and best practices with their counterparts and government representatives, as they finalize legislation paving the way for the creation of a new Serbian Academy.
The President of the Supreme Court, Vida Petrovic Skero, the Public Prosecutor, Slobodan Radovanovic, and the Acting Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Ruth van Rhijn, will open the conference. The Minister of Justice of Azerbaijan, Fikrat Mammadov, will present the Azerbaijani model of judicial training.
