A ground-breaking ceremony to mark the official start of the construction of the permanent facility of the Bujanovac Department of the Subotica Faculty of Economics of the Novi Sad University took place in Bujanovac on 3 February 2015.

This has been a culmination of years of hard work and an important step towards promoting the opportunities for multi-ethnic and multi-lingual higher-education in south Serbia.
