Women's Entrepreneurship in the OSCE: Trends and good practices

The conference will bring together experts and businesswomen to explore trends and good practices and initiate debate on how to enhance economic growth through women’s entrepreneurship in the OSCE area. A regional focus will be on women entrepreneurship in the South Caucasus and Central Asia including Afghanistan. However, good practices will be presented from across the OSCE participating States.
The conference will be addressing topics such as:
- Impacts on security of continued gender inequalities in the business sector;
- Challenges and good practices from associations and networks of women entrepreneurs in the OSCE region;
- Innovative practices from the private sector to encourage women entrepreneurs,
- Examples of economic reforms launched by States to support women's economic growth.
Participation from associations and networks of women entrepreneurs as well as from ministries of economy and labour from participating States is highly welcomed.
The Vilnius conference is part of a project run by the OSCE Gender Section and funded by Andorra, Germany and the USA.
