Proposed Minimum Standards and Components of Curricula for Police and Judicial Training to Prevent and Combat Violence Against Women and Girls
OSCE GIP/WIN conducted a mapping exercise of police and justice sector training curricula on VAWG in South East Europe. The main objective of the exercise was to identify good practices as well as need for improvement in developing and delivering training for law enforcement and justice sectors. This exercise provided OSCE-wide insights on Minimum standards and components of training curricula on combating violence against women and girls for police and judiciary.
The proposed Minimum Standards aim to enhance the effectiveness of VAWG training programs by providing guidance to OSCE executive structures, policymakers and training institutions when designing and delivering training on violence against women and girls.
