Women in Security: Countering Violent Extremism (part 5)

“It's easier for the ladies to just call Kim or Therese if something happens in the family," instead of dialing the police number, say Police Inspector Therese Lutnas and Police Superintendent Kim Anne Marie Hiorth from the Oslo Police District. But it was a lot of work every day to build this trust with the community. 

Kim and Therese joined the OSCE expert meeting on the Gender Mainstreaming in Operational Responses to Violent Extremism and Radicalization that Lead to Terrorism that took place in Vienna, 22-23 November 2016.
