Every semester a global Peer-2-Peer: Challenging Extremism (P2P) initiative invites university students from around the world to identify, develop and pitch a digital or social initiative, product or tool to educate and empower their peers to challenge violent extremism. This Fall Term P2P announced a joint competition with the OSCE as part of its #UnitedCVE campaign for universities across the OSCE region.
Projects submitted by the universities in October 2016 have been assessed by an OSCE #UnitedCVE jury. Three teams have been short-listed to present their creative concepts live to delegates and the media on 7 December at 14:00 at a side event on the margins of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Hamburg.
A final judging panel consisting of senior-level officials will announce the winner during an award ceremony on 8 December at 17:15.
Finalists:
Ljubljana University, Slovenia
Lund University, Sweden
Simon Fraser University, Canada
