This publication has been developed by the Technical Working Group on Self-Regulation and supported by the OSCE Mission to Montenegro. Information disorder- the creation and dissemination of false, misleading or malicious information- represents the dominant tool of manipulation of public opinion in the digital age. The basic intention of this manual is to help media professionals in a clear and reviewed way to recognize and critically assess possible distortions and aberrations of the "material" they work with- valuable, but also easily perishable and abusable "goods"- information. The 2024 report represents the continuation of a long-term research effort aimed at analyzing the attitudes of Montenegrin citizens toward the State Prosecutor's Office, its activities, and its role in society. This is the fifth consecutive wave of research, which allows for not only a detailed overview of current attitudes but also comparisons with the results from previous years (2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023).

Since 2004, the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (Mission) has conducted comprehensive trial monitoring of war crimes cases in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Complementing this trial monitoring, in 2014, the Mission’s War Crimes Monitoring Project (WCMP), funded by the European Union (EU), began collecting and analyzing data regarding the pre-indictment backlog of all reported potential war crimes.
