Current State and Prospects of Teaching Human Rights in Ukraine’s Schools
The publication provides an overview of the results of a study of the state of teaching human rights in secondary schools, conducted in 2020-2021 with the support of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine. The report is based on the analysis of state standards of higher education and professional standards, content analysis of textbooks and manuals, online surveys of participants of the educational process, in-depth and focus group interviews with educational experts. The publication will be of interest to public authorities and local self-government bodies, secondary schools, higher education institutions where teachers are trained, international and non-governmental organizations and anyone interested in human rights education.
