Gender-Sensitive Recruitment and Training in Mine Action
The Guidelines were developed by the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining, translated and published with the support of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine. These guidelines are the result of the compilation and analysis of information/testimonies provided by mine action organisations which will provide a better understanding of the gender issues in the recruitment and training of staff at all levels and in all areas of demining organisations, as well as to present good practices and lessons learnt from the different countries studied.
