The OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine in cooperation with the NGO ISAR Ednannia organised study visits to the OSCE participating States –the Netherlands and Spain for representatives of Ukrainian NGOs and executive authorities. The participants were to study experience of these countries in building effective partnerships between authorities and civil society organizations (CSOs). As a result the project working group, with Ukrainian CSOs ISAR Ednannia, Ukrainian Philanthropists Forum and Ukrainian philanthropic market place as its members, developed recommendations on the quality standards and good governance for civil society organizations as confidence-building measures and CSOs institutional development mechanism. The recommendations were developed as part of the project “Enhancing Institutional Capacity of the Government of Ukraine and Civil Society Organizations to Co-operate Effectively in the Decision-Making Process” together with the project partner, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The project is implemented with the financial support of the Government of the United States.
