Training on Agriculture Water Management for Water User Association

From 16-20 May 2016, 35 Tajik and Afghan representatives of Water User Associations, Government officials and representatives of international organizations took part in a five-day training course in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The training programme was organized by the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (then the OSCE Office in Tajikistan), Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) and Mercy Corps Afghanistan. The training aimed at enhancing the knowledge of Water User Associations on regulatory and administrative matters, financial sustainability and technical aspects including maintenance of the infrastructure and water allocation.
