Prior to taking up agenda item 2, the Netherlands called to mind the 298 victims of the tragic crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, which occurred on 17 July 2014 (Australia, Partner for Co-operation, Annex). The Permanent Council adopted Decision No. 1213 on the dates and agenda of the 2016 Economic and Environmental Dimension Implementation Meeting (Russian Federation, interpretative statement).
