Activist Samia Hathroubi on how terrorism affects real lives
14 October 2016
Young people getting radicalized to violence is not about media or politics, it's about real lives of those, who could be in our social circles, who could be our friends and family, explains Samia Hathroubi, a French-Tunisian activist and European Director of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding. Samia took part in the 2016 OSCE Mediterranean Conference on Youth North and South of the Mediterranean, organized in Vienna on 5-6 October 2016.
This workshop was and held under the umbrella of the “OSCE United in Countering Violent Extremism (#UnitedCVE)” campaign. Watch more #UnitedCVE stories from the Black Sea region and the Western Balkans.
