Historian Bacem Dziri on Western European youth against violent extremism
13 October 2016
Whether it is violent extremism inspired by left- or right-wing ideologies, or violence committed in the name of religion, these narratives and movements are feeding each other, says historian and youth activist Bacem Dziri from Germany. Bacem took part in the “Youth and the Prevention of Violent Extremism” workshop on Western European Perspectives, organized by the Permanent Mission of Austria to the OSCE on 4 October 2016 in Vienna.
This workshop was and held under the umbrella of the “OSCE United in Countering Violent Extremism (#UnitedCVE)” campaign. Watch more #UnitedCVE stories from the Black Sea region and the Western Balkans.
