The 22nd Autumn Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will take place from 2 to 4 October in Dublin, Ireland. Hosted by Houses of the Oireachtas, the Autumn Meeting will include a Parliamentary Conference, held under the theme “Fifty Years After Helsinki: The Role of Parliaments in Reinforcing the OSCE’s Comprehensive Model of Peace and Security,” a meeting of the Mediterranean Forum, and a meeting of the Standing Committee. Hundreds of parliamentarians from across the OSCE area are expected to take part in the event.
The three sessions of the Parliamentary Conference will focus on the OSCE’s approach to the conflict cycle, the role of parliamentarians in addressing the climate crisis, and enhancing migration governance in the OSCE region. The OSCE PA Mediterranean Forum, taking place on 4 October, will focus on the situation in the Middle East.
