Opening of the First OSCE-Supported Spaces for Socio-Psychological Assistance to Children Affected by War

First spaces created with OSCE assistance for social and psychological support of children, affected by the war, will be presented and officially launched in Vinnytsia on 15 April 2025. The effort is part of the OSCE pilot project implemented at the request of the National Social Service of Ukraine in cooperation with local governments and the Vinnytsia Oblast Military Administration.
The goal of the initiative is to provide children affected by the consequences of war, as well as their parents, with professional psychosocial support directly in the communities. The spaces offer individual consultations, group classes, art therapy and educational activities. They are integrated into the local system of social services and operate in the premises owned by the communities.
The program of the event includes:
- Round table with the participation of representatives of the OSCE, National Social Service of Ukraine, local authorities, local communities (among the participants are Pierre Bossant, Chief of Operations of the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine; Vasyl Lutsyk, Head of NSSU; Serhiy Zditovetskyi, Deputy Head of Vinnytsia Oblast Military Administration)
- Official opening of the spaces, familiarization visit to the facility
- Communication with specialists and representatives of the teams implementing the initiative
