Analytical Report on the Study of European, International and National Standards for Monitoring and Assessing the Environmental Consequences of War and Implementing State Control over Compliance with Environmental Legislation
This document summarizes findings of a screening study of European, international and Ukrainian standards for environmental monitoring, performed on request of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine. As an outcome of analysis performed, the report contains a list of European and international standards that need to be adopted in Ukraine to enable standardized methods of monitoring and control. These changes are essential for the country to ensure monitoring and assessment of war-related environmental damages, elaboration of post-war rehabilitation plans, as well as to align its regulatory framework with the EU requirements. Available in Ukrainian.
