Standing Strong for Youth and with Youth. Recommendations for the Operation of Youth Centres and Spaces during the War and Post-conflict Recovery Period
Currently, youth centres and spaces have become essential platforms for supporting young people and strengthening communities. The recommendations for their operations were developed collaboratively, based on the results of eight roundtables with representatives of youth centres, local authorities and civil society organisations. The document includes the challenges faced by youth centres during the war, as well as solutions and opportunities that can address the problematic issues, reflecting the collective efforts of all involved.
The recommendations emphasise the importance of integrating youth centres into community development strategies, securing resources through partnerships, and tailoring programmes to the specific needs of young people. Key priority areas include career guidance, entrepreneurship support, volunteerism, gender equality, and youth participation in decision-making. These activities aim to strengthen communities and create the basis for sustainable development. The document is available in Ukrainian language.
