Teaching about human rights, prohibition of discrimination, and equality in school education is an important task for school educators. They should be able to teach students in an engaging, accessible, and interactive manner and yet be able to cover in-depth a range of complex issues. For that they need to be well-equipped with relevant knowledge and teaching methodologies.
To enhance school teachers’ understanding of human rights, non-discrimination and the principle of equality, the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Ukraine, are organizing an advanced human rights training for school educators in Zakarpattia region from 7 to 9 August 2024.
To participate in the competitive selection of participants, it is necessary to fill out the application form by 20 July 2024 (inclusive).
The training agenda includes theoretical aspects of human rights protection, as well as tools for better teaching of the subject, and organising educational events on human rights in schools.
