New trends in the field of legal theory and its teaching to future generations of lawyers require careful attention from university professors. Better quality of higher legal education will result in and higher professional qualities of legal practitioners, who will be able to better defend human rights. With this aim, the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine in cooperation with the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" invites professors of general theoretical disciplines to apply for participation in the Summer School of Professional Development "Non-positivist Theory of Law: Methodology and Teaching Methods Issues."
The summer school will take place from 10 12 July 2024 in the Ivano-Frankivsk region; it is part of a joint project between the OSCE and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.
To participate in the competitive selection of participants, it is necessary to fill out the application form by June 17, 2024 (inclusive).
The program includes sessions on how to improve the teaching methodology of general theoretical disciplines and special courses for students, as well as individual work on the syllabus, enabling participants to use assistance of trainers in developing changes and additions to their educational courses with a focus on the application of non-positivist legal theory and its teaching in modern conditions.
