The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODHIR) held a seminar on free media, focusing on topics such as the political climate that encourages free media, journalistic freedom and responsibility, and free media and the free market.
The four-day seminar was the fourth in a series of specialized ODIHR meetings aiming to address human dimension questions of political concern.
Earlier seminars focused on tolerance (November 1992), migration, refugees and displaced persons (April 1993) and successful cases of national minority integration. (May 1993).
