The training will gather Roma and pro-Roma human rights defenders and activists from Ukraine who will strengthen their knowledge of digital safety and security in a war climate. Participating civil society representatives will better understand various harms and challenges in digital environments that may affect human rights efforts and explore practical resources and instruments for advancing digital safety in human rights work. Participants will learn about identifying digital threats, secure communication, data protection, safe browsing, incident response, and techniques to improve their well-being.
This training adds to ODIHR’s efforts to build the capacity of Ukrainian Roma and pro-Roma civil society to ensure timely and effective responses to Roma human rights challenges during the war. The event is organized within ODIHR’s project “Advancing the Human Dimension of Security in Ukraine.”
