Independence of Prosecutors in Central Europe: ODIHR Webinar Report
On 20 October 2021, the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and the Prosecutor’s Office of Estonia co-organized a webinar on the topic of independence of prosecutors in Central Europe, with an emphasis on functional independence of prosecutors.
This report reflects the presentations and discussions in the webinar and provides a summary of the research. It also identifies recommendations for strengthening the independence of prosecutors, particularly in Central Europe.
