This national compilation paper provides an overview of activities conducted in Lombardy, Italy, as part of the project “Building a Comprehensive Criminal Justice Response to Hate Crime” developed by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) with funding from the European Union and the United States.
Workshop Report - Italy: Developing a Comprehensive Response to Hate Crimes on a Regional Level
In February 2017, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) launched a two-year project to help improve skills of, and collaboration among, criminal justice professionals in each of four OSCE participating States – Bulgaria, Greece, Italy and Poland – and to improve their co-operation with civil society.The outcomes and experiences of project activities were presented and discussed at a workshop in Milan on 15 January 2019. The event was organised together with the Milan Bar Association (MBA) and the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
