How are the current global crises affecting the energy sector? Will it be able to cope with the tensions?
In its fifth edition, the Vienna Energy Security Dialogue is dedicated to tackling current energy security challenges from commercial, political, and socioeconomic perspectives in times of crisis.
Jointly organized by the OSCE and the Austrian Committee of the World Energy Council, the Dialogue has emerged as a leading international forum, uniting decision makers from business, politics, academia, and civil society to discuss the opportunities and the challenges of the energy transition.
This year’s edition features one high-level session and three expert panels on:
- the future of oil and gas
- the green energy revolution
- humanizing the energy transition
The event will be held in English.
Audience: This event is open to the delegations of the OSCE participating States and Partners for Co-operation, the OSCE executive structures, including field operations, as well as members and partners of the World Energy Council, Ernst & Young and the Federation of Austrian Industries. Representatives of international organizations, expert academics, business representatives, and non-governmental organizations with relevant expertise are also invited to the event.
