E-learning on Gender Mainstreaming in Water Governance
The e-learning “Gender Mainstreaming in Water Governance” is based on the guidance document “Gender Mainstreaming in Water Governance in Central Asia” and aims to provide a preliminary introduction to gender mainstreaming in water governance in an engaging manner.
The course results particularly useful for students, policy makers, policy practitioners and experts with a keen interest in water management and its interlinkages with gender.
The course has two broad objectives:
1. To provide practical tools for gender mainstreaming in water governance
2. To increase capacity of individuals and institutions in integrating a gender perspective in water management
Course Outline:
The course is divided into 5 sections: each one requires reading, answering questions and completing assignments. Additional resources and external links will be provided to deepen the learning experience of the participants.
The course will take approximately 2.5 hours and is targeted towards students and practitionars in the field of water.
