OSCE-supported training programme for Parliamentary services of Montenegro

Some 16 representatives of the Parliamentary services and secretaries of the Montenegrin Parliament Committees successfully completed the last in a series of an OSCE-supported programme, aimed at strengthening their leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, from 13 to 14 October 2015 in Podgorica.

Through theoretical and practical exercises, participants worked with different challenges, problem solving techniques and in teams.

The training programme focused on reinforcing the role of managers in a key public institution, and enhancing their capacity building and motivation, so to lead to further development of the Parliamentary structures. It was developed with the Human resources department of the Parliament, with the goal of strengthening the efficiency of the parliamentary service, especially the heads of the departments aiming at strengthening their skills as managers and offering them tools to increase their internal communication skills.
