Call for applications for online media seminar announced by OSCE Mission to Moldova
The OSCE Mission to Moldova issued a call for applications for a two-day training seminar on establishing and managing professional and financially sustainable online media outlets held by the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media and the Mission on 29 and 30 November 2011 in Vadul-lui-Voda.
Some 20 journalists and media managers from both sides of the River Nistru/Dniestr will have the opportunity to take part. The seminar will focus on the legal regulations, challenges and opportunities of Internet-based media, and practical ways to run profitable and viable media businesses. National and international experts will share best practices of online journalism and ways to expand and better serve audiences in small markets.
The languages of the seminar will be Romanian and Russian with simultaneous translation. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the organizers for selected participants.
