Guide for journalists and citizens on court proceedings
This guide is designed as a practical tool for journalists and citizens to better understand the court proceedings. The Guide seeks to provide practical and easily understandable guidelines, deliberately structured for non-lawyers. Its contents offer explanations of the most pertinent and critical aspects of court proceedings and court structures. The Guide has four parts: general on how to contact court, a section on criminal procedures, a section on civil procedures, and a guide on journalistic reporting. The publication aims to enhance accessibility and clarity in court reporting, with the overarching aim to boost public awareness, demystify the role of the courts, and, in the long run, cultivate greater trust in the work of the judiciary. It is available in Serbian language.
