Serbia’s Foreign Minister Dačić, OSCE Chair Lajčák, Head of OSCE Mission Orizio to open regional event on security sector governance and reform

First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dačić, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák, and Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Andrea Orizio will open a high-level regional discussion on security sector governance and reform (SSG/R).
The event will bring together some 100 senior practitioners and policymakers from national security sectors, as well as academia and civil society from across South-eastern Europe to explore how effective security sector governance and reform can help states to respond to increasingly complex and diverse risks and threats to national and international security.
Media representatives are invited to attend the regional discussion’s high-level opening session, which will feature remarks by Ministers Dačić and Lajčák, and Ambassador Orizio. This session, which will be moderated by Slovakia’s Ambassador to Serbia, Dagmar Repčeková, will take place from 14:00-14:45.
