Kosovo Mission Head to brief Pristina media on 1 June

PRISTINA, 31 May 2001 (OSCE) - Daan Everts, Head of the Mission in Kosovo, will brief the Pristina media on Friday, 1 June, on his recent visit to the OSCE Permanent Council.
On 31 May, Mr. Everts had updated the 55 OSCE participating States during the regular Permanent Council meeting in Vienna on the on-going preparations for the 17 November elections in Kosovo. He was accompanied by the four Kosovo members of the Interim Administrative Council and Gary Mathews, the Principle Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo.
The media briefing will take place on 1 June at 15:30 hours in the 6th Floor Conference Room of the OSCE Mission Headquarters in Pristina. Media representatives should be aware that the briefing will start punctually, as Mr. Everts will attend the meeting of the Central Election Commission at 16:00 hours.
