2015 OSCE Apprenticeship Programme
11 December 2015
A three-month apprenticeship programme for young persons between 20 and 24 years old was supported by the OSCE in co-operation with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Local Government Administration and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The purpose of the programme was to directly involve young people in strategic and operational planning, policy design and decision-making processes of central level institutions and acquaint them with the latter’s mandate, scope of work, duties and responsibilities.
Including participants from the Kosovo Bosniak and Kosovo Turk communities, out of 288 applications, 17 apprentices were selected and successfully completed the 2015 Apprenticeship Programme.
OSCE will support the 2016 expanded edition of the Apprenticeship Programme with more available slots for young apprentices and more public institutions co-operating as part of the programme.
