The Max van der Stoel Award Commemorative Book 2003 and 2005 provides an overview of the awards ceremonies in these two years, including key speeches by the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, the foreign minister of the Netherlands and the laureates. It also features the winners of the awards, in 2003, the Latvian Centre for Human Rights and Ethnic Studies, Riga, and in 2005, the Memorial Historical, Educational, Human Rights and Charitable Society, Moscow, and both organizations’ efforts to improve the position of national minorities in OSCE participating States.
